  • Title: “Characterization of Mid-to-Deep Crustal Metamorphism and Melting under varying P-T-X-t conditions and its Applications to the Proterozoic Eastern Ghats Belt, India.” Year of Completion: 2019, Funding agency: DST sponsored project (No. DST/INSPIRE/04/2014/000221).

Invited Talks:

  • One hour online invited lecture on The experience of Antarctica (“A journey to the frozen continent for studying geodynamic evolution of East Antarctica”) was delivered at Dept. of Environmental Science, University of Calcutta, followed by an half an hour discussionon 14th May, 2020.
  • Invited lecture on “Characterization of partial melting in the continental crust: An example from Kerala Khondalite Belt, India” was delivered at Department of Earth Sciences, IISER Kolkata in two-day International Symposium on ‘Processes in the continental crust’ on 23-24 October 2021.

  • Participated in 39th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (ISEA) from November 2019 to February 2020, conducted by NCPOR, Goa to carry out NCSS project on Antarctica (as Principal Investigator).
