  • 2023, January, in Seminar, Current Trends in Earth System Sciences (CTESS), at Kerala University, Karyavttom campus, Thiruvananthapuram, an Abstract Presented “Kerala landslides case studies; The danger is only limited to slides &flows or even got fixed in “Cracks” Alka Gond, Mayank Joshi, Prasobh P.   • A Short Course on Slope Stability [With Focus on Kerala] lecture by Dr. Manoj Verman, Tunnelling and Rock Engineering Expert (President, International Commission on Hard Rock Excavation) was attended since 08th to 11th May, 2019 at Trivandrum.
  • A one – day seminar on Landslide and Mitigation (LAM), was attended on 7th December, 2018 at Civil Engineering Department, IIT Roorkee organized by IIT Roorkee and IGS Roorkee chapter.

Training:

  • A training program on Climate Change: Challenges and Response, was attended from 13th to 17th March, 2023 at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA),Mussoorrie; organized by the Centre for Disaster Management (CDM) in collaboration with DST.
  • A DST organized training programme on Science and Technology for rural societies for women scientists & technologist, was attended in IIPA building, New Delhi held on 19th to 23rd December, 2022.
  • A training program on Role of Technology in Community Level Disaster Mitigation was attended at LBSNAA, Musoorrie, from 19th to 23rd August, 2019. The program was organized by Centre for Disaster Mitigation in collaboration with DST.

Field works Experiences:

  • 19th to 28th Nov, 2022 Field work along Kannur and Idukki districts to collect the inventory data and soil sampling for geotechnical analysis.
  • One-day (25th Nov, 2021) field visit was performed in Parassala, Trivandrum for the field-based inventory data collection.
  • Geological field work along with the geophysical survey carried out (Dec, 2019) in Kinanoor village, soil piping location, Kasargod district, Kerala.
  • 10th 12th July, 2019, a field visit to the Elangoor village, Malappuram district and report submitted to the authority (NCESS).
  • 8th to 21st February, 2018, a field work carried out to collect the inventory data in Idukki district.
  • Aug-Sep, 2018, intense field work was carried out along Idukki, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur, Kannur and Palghat districts.
  • Field work in Munnar from 06-Jan-2017 to 18-Jan-2017. The field work was done to find out the landslide locations and prone areas as well.
