Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week - 2014

Vigilance Awareness Week – 2014 is being observed at NCESS from 27th October 2014 to 1st November 2014, with the theme “Combating Corruption – Technology as an enabler”. All staff members including project personnel and students were assembled in the foyer of the Administrative Block at 11am. The programme started with an introductory address by Dr.N.P.Kurian, Director, NCESS highlighting the importance of Vigilance Awareness Week and the associated theme. Thereafter, NCESS employees took the pledge, which was read out by the Director. 

Observance of Communal Harmony Campaign Week and Flag Day of the NFCH- 19th to 25th November 2014

Communal Harmony Campaign Week from 19-25 November, 2014 and the Flag Day on 25th November, 2014 of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony are being observed at NCESS. Employees have contributed to augment the resources of the NFCH to carry on its activities on various schemes and projects. The donation will be sent to NFCH. The distribution of flag stickers and posters pertaining to the same has also been displayed as part of the campaign week. 

Swachh Bharat Mission Launched at NCESS

Swachh Bharat Mission Programme was launched at NCESS on 2nd October 2014. The staff members including project personnel and students assembled in the foyer of the Administrative Block at 9 30 am. The programme started with an introductory address by Dr.N.P.Kurian, Director, NCESS highlighting the importance of the day and the Swachh Bharat Mission. This was followed by a Cleanliness pledge by the employees led by the Director, at 9 45 am. The cleaning of the office premises was subsequently inaugurated by the Director. All the employees actively participated in the cleaning of the offices and campus. The programme was organized by the Campus Green Committee, NCESS.
